I wish I can submit for discussion a case that I have found.
L.F. man, (44 years old)
He called me because while he was at sea appeared a pain in his left ear with secretion (liquid) .
Diagnosis of the specialist: otitis with perforated timpanum.
He contacted me instead of beginning the therapy of a specialist (antibiotic and betametasone)
Otitis with perforation of tympanum
Symptoms: pain with no secure modalities
Secretion: liquid
Appeared to sea after wet ear.
Concomitant symptoms:
- nasal obstruction, no modalities.
- Feeling of reduction of sensitivity to the left thigh.
Modalities: appeared after moistening the ear
Cause: Investigating he said to me that a few days before he got angry with a client.
Repertorization:
Ears 141, Discharge from Ears, Moisture (Liquid) {141} [12]
52276 Nose, obstruction {52276} [171]
35737 Generalities, side, left {35737} [105]
46031 Mind, anger, ailments after anger, vexation, etc.. {46031} [66]
744 Sensations and Complaints, Generalities, Deadness (sensation of Body Parts Falling Asleep, Numbness), single parts {744} [40]
711 Lower Extremities, Thigh, Frontal side {711} [57]
Aggravation 2257, Situation and Circumstance, Wet ( Drenched), Becoming {2257} [28]
The ear pain was not modalized, pain had no secure modalities; luckily pazient said to me his sensation of numbness.
Phone consultation: 5 minutes
I prescribed calcium phosphoricum 3 LM one drop three times a day, then once a day for a week.
Complete resolution of the problem in two days.
It is possible that calcium phosphoricum is the constitutional remedy of the patient.
Comments and suggestions?
(I have little experience about Boenninghausen's method)
Thanks
Marco Colla
